Role Description:

Illuvium is currently seeking a talented and seasoned Director of Partnerships to plan and execute business development and influencer marketing in crypto and gaming markets, oversee deal flow from lead generation to execution, design and implement a partner and influencer CRM, and secure partnerships with key organizations and influencers to position Illuvium game studio as the leader in the GameFi revolution. 

About Illuvium:

Illuvium Labs is an independent game development studio based in Sydney, Australia. We develop blockchain-based games for the Illuvium DAO. We have developed a strong culture of independence with our team, preferring candidates who can articulate their vision and goals. We operate almost entirely remotely, so each team member designs their hours and work schedule. In the end, all that matters is the delivered product. We hire based on people’s abilities to adapt and change quickly, valuing underlying core abilities above specific skill sets.

Responsibilities:

  • With leadership and Head of Marketing, develop Illuvium’s partnerships and influencer strategy and update based on current priorities
  • Field inbound partnership and influencer inquiries, filter high quality opportunities, and explore with 3rd parties
  • Design and implement CRM for partners and influencers from prospecting to daily follow ups and service
  • Scout and secure partnerships with key organizations and influencers that directly benefit our community, products and games
  • Control deal flow from lead generation, to negotiation, all the way through to execution
  • Create partner and influencer hit list and proactively reach out to secure opportunities
  • Manage core contributors, consultants, agencies and vendors as needed to complete partnership projects
  • Clearly communicate with internal parties and connect parties to ensure partnerships are moving forward

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years direct experience in business development in gaming, crypto, or finance brands for domestic and international markets
  • Proven experience booking, managing and executing high-performing content with influencers
  • Highly organized and process oriented with CRM and project management experience
  • Successfully managed consultants, agencies, vendors, and employees in a business development context
  • Driven leader that thrives is a fast paced “startup” like environment
